Digital Stress

We sit in a cubicle, focused on a screen, soaking in florescent light.
Surrounded by invisible yet dangerous fog of wifi radiation.
Notifications abound and distract.
Wrist pads help fend off carpel tunnel.
We are sedentary mouse clickers.

Pictures of family pinned to the fabric of the cubicle.
A family you frequently visit….on a screen.

We stare at each other…. on screens.
Right there….yet miles apart.

We shop at digital stores, with digital money.
We buy things, yet are not satisfied.

We post happy pics while inhaling anti depressants.
We are tracked, traced, algorithmed and censored.
We worship “influencers”, yet ignore our inner guidance.
We look for followers, yet fail to lead ourselves.

We are connecting – yet are disconnected.
All together, yet alone.

Welcome to the R3volution.
you are NOT alone!
