Invited.

I (and my wife) were recently invited by a close friend to attend their
Christmas eve get together at their home.
My wife and I accepted- and were looking forward to attending .
Just this morning, my wife was asking my opinion what were should bring.

Uninvited.

Today, I get a phone call from my friend He seemed a bit “off”.
He said “this is embarrassing for me but” .. because of my wife’s fear of Covid –
you both cannot attend.
(Long , awkward pause)……

I was surprised, but not shocked as Im aware his wife is hypnotized by CNN and TV NEWS.
I sounded un moved on this call,  stating “I understand”, I respect her decision.
I sarcastically lamented that I feel like Rosa Parks, but I’m gonna live another day
with out attending this event….have fun.

From ok with it ,to pissed off.

Its been a few hours since this call and I have grown (to my surprise) quite pissed!!
I cannot put my finger on exactly why?
Is it because of the rampant division I see and feel lately?
Is it because I can see that shes being deceived?
Is it that I, like MOST Covid fatigued?
Is it that Im both sad angry at the rampant polarity thats developed since 2020?

My revelation!
(the silver lining).

Later (the same day) ,this  came to me…
What an exciting time in history this actually IS!
As the old systems of control and fear collapse, the new ways form.
The new ways, new world,  is Based on Love and true community.
(Notice UNITY in community?)

Through this transition we can “find our people” really fast!
The contrast is now unavoidable. And if your awake, unbelievably OBVIOUS!
Love is the opposite of FEAR.
Love starts with loving yourself.
And It is far more contagious than any “variant” of fear.
