Ten Days free of social media.

UPDATE Feb 2021 – still 100 % social media free.

Day ten of the social media delete
Why am I counting anyhow? Like an alcoholic or recovering drug user does?   Weird.

 Ten day recap:
-The first few days I thought alot about logging into to my twitter(s).
-The first few days I discovered just how much time I was on socials (WASTED).
-The time just “showed up” as free time – alot of new FREE TIME**
-I used this some of this “extra”time to reflect.
I literally cannot point to one friend (REAL ONE) I made through the socials. I honestly see loss. Loss of concentration, peace with who I AM,     Loss of the better sense of me. A life lived through a screen is no life for me. Loss of control of my privacy.
-After about five days I rediscovered books. Reading with out suggestions on what to read next.
-By day seven Im noticeably more relaxed. I cant even begin to tell great you how free I feel!

I find much more worth (value) in what only 10 days have shown me!

Like any good facade, any plastic replacement for meaning, the truth eventually appears..
What you decide to do with that truth is defines you.
Tweet that for me ….would you?
You got time.

**Authors note:
The main issue most of my clients and friends suffer from is “not enough time”.
I call BULLSHIT now.
