In my recent Blog, “Social Media A brave delete story” I shared my thoughts on social media,
what It means to me & what it does not mean to me.
I did Delete my Artist/DJ twitter acct over a week ago. (explained in that blog).
One down one to go!
Today, after a little too much wrestling, I decided to end it all. To terminate the Twitter for this blog.

What follows is a summary of the last few minutes of  Twitter & whats on the other side.

I logged in to Simplifi(ed) Life Twitter.
Scrolled to the VERY bottom of he “account” page. There, in red you will see “Deactivate account”.
I stared at that 30 seconds before clicking it.
Click.
Next it asks you to log in. Much like a gun safety…you know- two steps.
Click.
The nest thing I saw was….

Your account is now deactivated.

–Your account will be permanently deleted in 30 days.
-If you change your mind you can reactivate by logging in before your account is deleted permanently.
-Click here to sign up for a new account.

Then…. this incredible feeling of euphoria!
No pain or regret. All my problems seemed far from me.
I then felt lighter. Relieved. I saw a white light, a tunnel. I was in another place. I felt only freedom. Only Love. The drama and anxiety I once felt lifted! I did not want to go back.

There IS life after social media.
But you knew that anyway.
Because you had life.. BEFORE social media.
